The Panenka. When Andrea Pirlo does it, it's a delightful little change of pace away from the decidedly vanilla style of penalty we see. But then it becomes a bit in vogue and it's done more often than it should.
Step forward Romário Baldé of Befinca U19s whose effort against Shakhtar Donetsk in the quarter final of the UEFA Youth League may be a new low point for the Panenka.
Benfica were 1-0 up at this point and that penalty would have pretty much ensured their place in the semi finals. However, Shakhtar equalised after this and brought the game to penalties which the Ukrainians won. Baldé didn't take a penalty in the shootout.
