Carabobo FC striker Aquiles Ocanto was simply going about his business, delivering a post-match interview to MeridianoTV's Maria Alexandra Bastidas following his side's 0-0 draw with Aragua, when he was unceremoniously minced from behind by some sort of idiot who we presume to be an Aragua fan.
Ocanto's club were quick to confirm he hadn't sustained any injury, while also renouncing violence in football. They tweeted:
Aquiles Ocanto se encuentra bien y sin ningún tipo lesión. De igual forma, rechazamos este tipo de actos y la violencia en el fútbol.
