Tony O'Donoghue interviewed Ireland interim manager, Noel King, after the win over Kazakhstan. To say that there was friction between the two would really be underplaying it, although to be fair 95% of the friction was being caused by Noel King.
King, in particular, did not like O'Donoghue's suggestion that Ireland could have created more chances if Ireland had played orthodox wingers like Aiden McGeady. He also felt that the RTÉ reporter was denigrating the players' performance on the night.
