It's become a bit of a square thing (the kids still say square, right?) to admit to watching the Late, Late on a Friday night. However, this week we revel in such a put down because we got a mention from Tubridy himself.
Balls.ie, it's a sport thing. (Ryan Tubridy, 12/12/14)
And we didn't even have to pay him for that. Ross Good you and your mighty beard were just splendid.
But we digress, that wasn't even the most sports-news worthy part of last night's show. That came later when Tommy Tiernan, despite his continuing fears of his former geography teacher, decided to spill the beans on what Colm O'Rourke was like during class.
Tiernan, along with fellow jokers Dylan Moran and Hector Ó hEochagáin, are alumni of St Pat's Classical School in Navan, Co.Meath, whose current principal is none other than Sunday Game stalwart Colm O'Rourke.
However, back is his playing days O'Rourke was a humble (or not so humble according to Tiernan) geography teacher... we'll let Tiernan himself pick it up from here.
