The 2013 African Cup of Nations has gotten off to a relatively quiet start but the Ethiopian goalkeeper, Jemal Tassew did his best to write himself into the headlines.

As Zambia's Chisamba Lungu was bearing down on goal, Tassew came charging out and performed a 'tackle' which wasn't too dissimilar to that of a certain Eric Cantona. To add insult to injury, Tassew was stretchered off after he had received a straight red card.
The game ended 1-1, let's hope the competition picks up for the right reasons from here on in.
