Lionel Messi scored twice for Barcelona as they beat Mallorca 4-2 earlier today. The two goals were Messi's 75th and 76th of the calender year 2012. This surpasses Pele's record of 75 that he set back in 1959. He is now 9 behind the 85 that the legendary German striker Gerd Muller set in 1972. Messi is 25 (twenty five!)
