Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week or so like some sort of agoraphobic mollusc, you're probably aware of the fact that Roy Keane has a book out. Although he claims he wouldn't go as far to say that Sir Alex Ferguson's autobiography spurred him on to pen a book to settle a few scores, judging by this interview, it did a little bit.
I felt it was a bit harsh, whether to criticise me or the other players when you consider we done ok for the club. We had a little bit of success, won a few trophies and there we have a manager criticising us all. A manager who's made millions of pounds out of us, got statues and stands named after him and he thinks he can sit back and criticise without anybody saying anything to him because he thinks he's got all this power.
And I thought, no, no, no. Why should we sit back and listen to this nonsense? Because nobody ever questions him. Everyone's frightened to death of him; the media , ex teammates of mine, 'Fergie's this', 'Fergie's that'... talking nonsense. So I thought, enough's enough. Why should I put up with that?
