Rory McIlroy's new putting grip is not costing him anything in the WCG Dell Matchplay championship in Austin. After a gingery start, he is in the midst of a sudden death playoff with Kevin Na at the time of writing.
He drained two putts of a combined length of 100ft around the turn this afternoon. First, he holed a stunning sixty-eight footer on the 9th to reduce his deficit to 1 down.
68 feet ... Sixty. Eight. Feet.

Two holes later, he knocked in a comparatively modest to get back to all-square.
Rory is making these putts look like layups.#QuickHits https://t.co/33IWwIRzIW
