RVP is currently enjoying his summer break with his family and the Van Persies decided to do a spot of fishing. The Manchester United striker then uploaded a clip of him hooking and reeling in a shark, like a really big full-on shark.
It's like Shark Week, but with more footballers. One to be precise.

The shark's young can be seen coming to the surface as well, which prompted Robin Van Persie's young to cry because the shark had babies, thankfully, RVP released the shark back into the ocean.

Van Persie's future at Manchester United remains in doubt following a disappointing season for the Dutchman, but at least he's having the craic on holidays.
