Robbie Keane was undoubtedly the big man on campus in LA last year. With the Dubliner on top form and a well organised team built around him, Galaxy were once again the best team in the MLS.
This year, they've added some more star power and things are beginning to click. The addition of Steven Gerrard and Gio Dos Santos to the Galaxy's squad may have taken the shine off Keane's superstar status but he won't mind if he keeps linking up with his new teammates like he has over the past couple of weeks.
Keane grabbed his 11th goal of an injury hit season and also added an assist for Dos Santos as Galaxy recorded a 3-1 win over Seattle Sounders to jump up to second place in the Western Conference and set themselves up for another serious run at the MLS play-offs.
