Luke Shaw wasn't the only player to have his season pretty much ended in the Champions League this week, as Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan badly injured Barcelona' Rafinha with this reckless challenge from behind:
The Belgian has been a key player for Roma in recent seasons and one of his best qualities is his tough-tackling, no-nonsense midfield play, but he was far too reckless when he went in from behind on Rafinha, and now the Barcelona man will likely miss the rest of the season with a bad knee injury.
Barcelona's Rafinha will require surgery after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on Wednesday #UCL

Sadly, this isn't the first player that Nainggolan has badly injured with a reckless tackle, but this time he took to twitter to express his sorrow for the incident:
Hola @rafinha, lo siento mucho por la mala noticia, no fue mi intención hacerte daño. Espero verte pronto en el campo, un fuerte abrazo!

Hello @rafinha , I'm sorry for the bad news , I did not mean to hurt you. Hope to see you on the field again soon.
As with Luke Shaw earlier in the week Barca players have been publicly wishing Rafinha well in his recovery, but as the brother of Thiago Alcantara who himself has had horrible luck with injuries, the parents must be thinking their children are cursed.
