Tomas Rosicky was the conductor for Arsenal as they advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup by beating Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Czech international made a number of no-look passes during the game and these were highlighted on Match of the Day.

Phil Neville was one of the analysts on duty and he didn't sound particularly impressed with Rosicky's skills, telling Mark Champman that if the midfielder had done that in one of his training sessions then he would have 'two-footed' him.

If that was a training session and someone did that in my training session, I'd be first over there and I'd probably look to two-foot him or take him out of the game.

If someone did that to me in training, sort of like winding me up. I'd be straight in there.

Somewhat in disbelief, Chapman required some clarification, asking if Ronaldo or Ross Barkley had pulled off a no-look pass in training would have also gone for them.

We'd smash them.

The comments provoked some outrage online.

Neville later claimed on Twitter that he was joking.
