Per Mertesacker was more than a little upset with fellow German teammate Mesut Ozil after the assist machine trudged off after Arsenal's 6-3 hammering by Manchester City today and ignored the travelling support from North London.
This has always been a bone of contention between fans and players and in a sense Mertesacker is right to admonish Ozil. However, Mesut didn't exactly have this problem in Spain where traditionally away support is minuscule. He might just be a little peeved that his side have just got hammered too.
