So, the Global Legends Series is a thing, and last night Paul Scholes scored twice as he helped 'Team Cannavaro' to an 8-5 win over 'Team Figo'.
Also participating in the charity match which took place in Bangkok, Thailand, were Michel Salgado, Michael Owen, Steve McManaman, Clarence Seedorf, Patrick Kluivert, Jens Lehmann (who was chipped by Scholes), Hidetoshi Nakata, Ronald De Boer, and Davor Suker who can be seen waving a towel in celebration at the start of this video of Scholes' chip which was no doubt the highlight of the match.
