Manchester City have put together a 13 minute documentary video on their highly rated Irish prospect Jack Byrne.
Byrne, from Ballybough in Dublin, has enjoyed a very impressive season with the Manchester City U19s, scoring freely for them from midfield in the Youth Champions League.
Although a midfielder, he is the side's top scorer in the competition with six goals from seven games as Patrick Vieira's team has roared into the quarter-finals.
He was offered a three year contract late last year by Manuel Pellegrini.
To his dismay, he was dropped from Paul Doolin's U19 squad last year, but he was quickly selected for Noel King's U21 team.
Balance, positional awareness and precision passing are what Byrne's game is based on, according the film's narration. His youth team coach at St. Kevin's said that he was convinced he'd eventually see Jack on the back pages or the front pages, 'hopefully the back.'
