Martin O'Neill was unveiled as the new Ireland manager at an FAI press conference today. Roy Keane was not present (he's at Aston Villa vs Cardiff).

O'Neill made a few attempts at humour during the event, though he often had to clarify that he was actually making a joke.

Here he says that he has asked himself several times why he requested Roy Keane to be his assistant manger before clearing up that he was actually joking.

Finally, he also had to clarify that John Delaney had not told him "in no uncertain terms" that qualification should be much more straight forward for Euro 2016 given that there will be twenty-four teams qualifying for the finals.
