Former Arsenal Academy director Liam Brady was appeared on BT Sport with Des Kelly and got to talking about Danny Welbeck's move from Manchester Utd to Arsenal.
Brady said that he was delighted Arsenal have signed the England striker and then went onto make some comparisons between Welbeck and one legendary former striker at the club.
The fantastic player that Thierry Henry turned out to be, when he came to Wenger he was still a little bit rough around the edges. He'd been playing on the wing in France. A bit like Welbeck spent some of his playing time on the wing. It took Thierry seven or eight games to get a goal for Arsenal but once he did I think Wenger polished him into a really, really fine finisher, brilliant finisher. He could very well do the same with Danny Welbeck.
