At today's Ireland squad announcement for the October internationals, Martin O'Neill took some time out to pass considerable judgement on the fashion choices of the Irish sporting press corps.
O'Neill had little regard for the assembled journos' choice of "torn jeans, dirty old trousers, scruffy shoes with vomit on them". It was enough to cause the gaffer to channel his inner Conor McGregor. In his typical joking-but-could-be-deadly-serious fashion, O'Neill said:
"You just come so slovenly, there's me dressed like a king".
