Gillingham is not only the former home of the most verbose football manager in human history (arise Rico!) and the club which allowed Keith Barr on to score a couple of goals in a 1991 friendly against Ballinasloe Town (true story), it now houses an exciting prospect plucked from the League of Ireland.
Last year he was playing for the Dundalk Youths, this year Emmanuel Osadebe is scoring solo goals like this one. He never seemed fully in control of the ball but showed great power and single-mindedness to keep his sally going. He was also aided by some incompetent defending. His goal helped Gillingham to a 3-1 win over Bury.
Catch me if you can: @EmmanuelOsadeb4 goes all the way & @TheGillsFC go top! See the rest of the goals at 9pm on 5. https://t.co/Z0V35ZDyWq
