Pep Guardiola has spoken about a meeting with Alex Ferguson in a New York restaurant back in December, 2012. The Bayern Munich manager was responding to a question about whether or not he was offered the Man Utd job.

While giving away that he did indeed meet Fergie, he brushed off the question of being offered the job with a joke. The Spaniard quipped that he could have been offered the position but he wasn't sure as he could not understand the Scot's accent when he spoke quickly.
