Eight years ago today, one of the greatest minutes in football history was played. In fact, you could even say football peaked at Vicarage Road in May 2013. Of course, we're speaking of the 2013 Watford-Leicester Championship play-off semi final.
By now we all know what happened. Almunia saves a penalty from Knockaert. Watford counter. Cross from Forrestieri. Header from Hogg. Goal from Deeney to make it 3-2 on aggregate for Watford.
With football on its knees, it's worth reliving how we all experienced it back in 2013.
Here's how it happened live on Sky Sports 2, with the iconic 'Here's Hogg...Deeney!!!' line
Here's the incredible Soccer Saturday narration with all the madness unfolding in the background.
And best of all, here's how Watford fans in the stands saw it.
The funniest part of the audio is the fan shouting "They've done a Doncaster!" in reference to the crazy final minute of Brentford v Doncaster that happened only 2 weeks previous [actually the funniest part is the steward with his/her arms spread wide at the end of the video making it perfectly clear that no pitch invaders will broach him/her although the gaps of free space on either side of him/her might be a different matter - ed.].
Oh and who doesn't like seeing people fall down on a football pitch! The delirium, the pitch invaders, the flares going off: we miss it all so badly.
