After 77 international caps, Eidur Gudjohnsen called time on his international career last night when Iceland's dream of World Cup qualification ended with a 2-0 aggregate defeat to Croatia.
Iceland had drawn 0-0 with Croatia in the first leg and traveled for the away leg with real hope of qualifying. It wasn't to be though and the former Chelsea striker could not hold back the tears afterwards on Icelandic TV.
