Sweeping general statements ahoy! Eamon Dunphy was in particularly tetchy form last night as he dismissed this Brazil as the worst Brazilian team in memory. Dunphy also dismissed Neymar as a trier and pored scorn on any notion that Brazil's poster boy might one day warrant a place alongside Leo Messi as a truly great player.

We can only assume Eamon was upset that his World Cup pick Chile had just been knocked out of the tournament by this collection of no hopers. It's also worth noting, that he gave Columbia absolutely no chance of knocking out Brazil. Don't try and wade through the logic here, there isn't any.
