The British general election is in its frenzied final stages and voters across the water are predictably being bombarded with grey campaign stops and outlandish promises as the half dozen parties scramble to win enough votes to have a seat at the adults table when the inevitable coalition is formed.
Current PM and man of the people David Cameron was speaking at a campaign event today of a better Britain, a Britain where any number of identities can be assimilated, a Britain where you can support 'Man United, the Windies and Team GB all at the same time'. Cameron finished his Utopian vision with a quip that he rather 'you supported West Ham' - but hang on Dave - aren't you an Aston Villa fan?
We're one Tim Sherwood comment away from Ed Miliband parking up at Downing Street.
We always suspected Tim would swing this election.
