Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have lost a bet. Either that or he really believes in the power of this incredibly odd Japanese healthcare device.
The Real Madrid superstar is endorsing an extremely unusual Japanese contraption known as the Facial Fitness Pao, which according to the manufacturer helps people exercise their facial muscles in order to maintain a youthful looking smile.
As you can see from the video, the device is placed in the user's mouth and they shake their head vigorously to tone the muscles in their face. A bi-product of this is that the user looks like a massive lunatic.
Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo is the only person in the ad that doesn't demonstrate how to use the product. Good job CR, keep your dignity.
