Portugal were held to a 1-1 draw in their World Cup qualifier against Israel last night and captain Cristiano Ronaldo was pumped up. In the 13th minute, Ronaldo was in the middle of a confrontation that happens to him every time on he is on the pitch. An Israel defender tries to stop Ronaldo in the tired old way of pulling at his jersey. As a riposte Ronnie launches a karate kick that while impressive in length and delivery, ultimately misses its target. Messi would have nailed it.
