It took David Beckham and Paul Scholes little over ten minutes to remind us that class is permanent, as they gave the Great Britain and Ireland team the lead in Beckham's UNICEF charity match in Old Trafford.
The former Man United teammates combined to open the scoring, thanks to a Scholes header off a Beckham cross. Indeed, watching the former England captain in the opening quarter hour you could argue that he's still the best player on the planet when it comes to pinging crosses in. Not to mention the fee-kick he nearly scored after five minutes.
