Former Man United wonderkid Anderson has been back in Brazil a couple of weeks now. It's fair to say that there wasn't too many in Old Trafford who were sad to see him leave. Anderson was talented but exceptionally lazy, something which resulted in him gaining a reputation for being a bit on the unfit side for a professional footballer.
So now that he's back where he feels home with Brazilian side Internacional, how much has that affected his perceived lack of fitness? Not a whole lot it seems. During last night's Copa Libertadores clash with Bolivia's The Strongest, Anderson was substituted after 36 minutes and was out of fuel to the extent that he needed oxygen when he came off.
To be fair to Anderson, the staging of matches in La Paz has long been cause for concern among footballers, given the city's near 12,000ft altitude. However, having said that, most are able to last longer than 36 minutes.
