Video: Alan Pardew Speaks About That Headbutt, Claims It Wasn't A Headbutt

That headbutt everyone is calling a headbutt wasn't a headbutt according to Alan Pardew when he spoke about that headbutt after the Newcastle's win over Hull today which was overshadowed by Alan Pardew's headbutt.

According to Pardew:

I tried to push him away with my head.

A little tip, Alan. You're hands, which were fee at the time, are a far more efficient means of removing someone from your personal space.

In his post-match press conference, the Newcastle manager said:

I don't think it was a headbutt. What I did wasn't a motion that was quick like a headbutt. It was just pushing him away, getting him out of my face really.
