The Man Utd manager told media that the 33-year-old 'does not fit the club's philosophy'.
He also claimed that Valdes refused to play with the reserve team last season.

Valdes joined Man Utd on a free transfer in January and made just two appearances for the club, coming on as a replacement for David de Gea in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal and starting the final game of the season, a 0-0 draw with Hull.
The former Barcelona player was recently omitted from Utd's squad for their pre-season tour of America.
