During Real Madrid's defeat to Rayo Vallecano there were some amazing scenes in the dying minutes as Federico Valverde blasted a shot attempt over the bar and over the stands before the ball ended up in a nearby apartment.
Valverde's miss ends up in nearby apartment
Amazingly, it just so happened that the fan living in the apartment was filming the action on his mobile phone. In the footage you can see the ball soar towards him before landing in his balcony. You can hear his excitement as the ball ends up in his flat as he lets out a joyous cheer.

With 96 minutes on the clock, Real Madrid were desperate for an equalising goal. A corner deep into added time saw the arrival of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois into the Rayo box, only for the ball to be cleared by the defence.
As the ball fell at the feet of the in-form Valverde, the home fans were cautious of a stunning equaliser. No need to worry, however, as the Uruguayan blasted the shot well out of the stadium.

Real Madrid suffer first loss of the season
Defeat to Rayo Vallecano was Real Madrid's first of the season, deservedly losing the match 3-2. The La Liga and Champions League winners managed just two shots on target, with Valverde's shocking attempt one of 14 wayward shots. The defeat however, was rather upstaged by Valverde's horrendous miss and the amazing scenes afterwards.
Real Madrid now find themselves two points behind rivals Barcelona at the top of La Liga, heading home from Sunday's match with no points...and one less ball.
