In case you missed it, Ireland were playing Uruguay tonight in the Aviva Stadium. It was the final warm-up match for the Austria game next Saturday. As such, Martin O'Neill made eight changes from the Mexico farce on Friday morning.
Jon Walters had opened the scoring with an absolute stunner after 28 minutes. Ireland's lead would last less than ten minutes though. A routine free kick was whipped in from the left wing.
Darren Randolph made an absolute pig's ear of it.

Jose Giminez will never have a simpler goal.
It's a shocking error from Randolph, who shipped three in that Mexico defeat. When you come out of your goal, you need to get a hand on it.
Social media didn't hold back.
Darren Randolph is a bad goalkeeper. It's a joke that he's in ahead of Westwood.

Not the best 45 mins for Randolph - at fault for the goal and lucky his pass across the box wasn't intercepted by Cavani earlier.

All Randolph's fault. Trying to be a deadly coming out 12 yards in a crowd of players to punch it, what a fuck up.

Awful by Randolph. When are we going to start playing our best goalkeeper? Westwood is streets ahead of him

To be fair, Westwood's helped Sheffield Wednesday to the playoffs, while Randolph had a mixed season at West Ham.
It's food for thought for O'Neill ahead of that crucial qualifier in Dublin next weekend.
Cyrus Christie would save Randolph's blushes by giving Ireland the lead immediately after half time.
