Earlier today we brought you the words of the Hull City fan, who rather than celebrate his club reaching the Championship play-off final like a normal person would, decided to confront Republic of Ireland international Richard Keogh.
The clip went viral, and a social media witch-hunt lead by a number of irate Derby County supporters quickly found the culprit.
When quizzed by a local paper, the man expressed his deep regret for his actions, stating that if he could, he would apologise to Keogh as he let his club down, but thankfully Hull City have ignored that and come down hard in an attempt to stamp out that sort of ridiculous behaviour.
HullDailyMail.co.uk have reported that Hull City have banned the supporter for life, meaning that he won't be going to Wembley, and will no longer be allowed to attend any of the tigers matches.
A statement from the club read:
We have written to Mr Pardoe following our investigation into the incident at the stadium on Tuesday night to inform him that he has now been banned from all Hull City fixtures. This ban is a lifetime ban.
We are also advised the Stadium Management Company has issued a similar ban for the stadium.
The article also included that the man in question had previously been in the public eye for his actions, and it sounds as though Richard Keogh may have been a tad young to face his wrath in comparison to his previous victims.
In 2008, Mr Pardoe – then aged 17 – was jailed for 12 months for attacking a 93-year-old man with an iron bar in his own home, leaving him with a severe head injury.
In 2011, he was jailed for seven years, but only served half before he was released on licence, after attacking a 70-year-old woman, also in her home.
Absolutely despicable.
Thankfully this can be put to bed now.
