For Francis Uzoho of Omonia Nicosia, Thursday night's trip to face Manchester United was not spoiled by his team's late defeat.
Uzoho - a lifelong Manchester United fan - put in the performance of his life, and nearly claimed a point for Omonia after a string of sensational saves.
After the game, he spoke to BT Sport, and the United fan couldn't hide his excitement at having played at the home of his boyhood team.
Manchester United 1-0 Omonia
On what was billed as the biggest game in Omonia Nicosia's recent history, they travelled to the home of Manchester United for Thursday night's Europa League game.
United had 25 shots on goal during a game which they dominated, but could not break through until the 93rd minute.
Their struggle to break through was largely down to Francis Uzoho in the Omonia net.

Uzoho has supported Manchester United since he was a child, and made some remarkable saves as Omonia attempted to hold out at the home of one of the world's biggest clubs.
Uzoho was on cloud nine when he spoke to BT Sport after the game, despite his side's 1-0 defeat.
"It's a dream come true for me!"

He said the game at Old Trafford was a "dream come true", and said that the performance may have been the best of his career:
I am not disappointed. We had a good game. I would have preferred to get at least a point, but I'm happy. It's not an easy stadium to play in with these big players. So, I'm happy in general.
It's a dream come true for me. I have dreamed to play here for a long, long time. When I saw the draw and I figured that I would be playing in Old Trafford, I wanted to play. I prayed to God to get an opportunity, and I got it, so I am happy I played here.
Arguably [it's the best performance of his career].
Uzoho's beaming smile, even in defeat, is terrifically wholesome content.
The game at Old Trafford was only the second Europa League game he has played this season, as he missed out on playing against United when they visited Omonia last week.
One only needs to look back through some of Uzoho's previous tweets to realise just how big of a Manchester United fan the Nigerian goalkeeper is. He tweeted in August when Manchester United sensationally lost 4-0 to Brentford, among many other tweets about the club he has supported since childhood.

Even if Scott McTominay's late winner for Manchester United may have spoilt the night somewhat for Omonia Nicosia, their goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was the undisputed star of the night.
