Crazy scenes from the Ukrainian Premier League as newly promoted Sevastopol faced third-placed Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The home team went 1-0 up shortly before half time but Dnipro equalised in the 51st minute. A few minutes later, Dnipro launched another attack, but were thwarted by Sevastopol ultras, who started throwing flares and ripped up seating onto the pitch.
However, according to Dirty Tackle, the act was not aimed at preventing Dnipro from scoring but rather a protest against club director Viktor Moskvitina. The club had organised buses for fans to Sevastopol's previous match but ultras were made to travel separately, and then were refused entry to the stadium, allegedly because of instructions given by Moskvitina.
Play restarted after 10 minutes, with no further disruptions and the game ended 1-1. Fortunately no players were injured. No word on any punishment being handed to the club or the fans.
