Perhaps they know something we don't but Udinese did everything possible to avoid landing in the draw for the Champions League proper on Thursday. Last evening they played Braga, a side who's last major triumph in Europe was the Intertoto Cup. The first leg in Portugal finished 1-1 and after Udinese took the lead in Italy it appeared it would be them headed for the real deal.

But then the house of cards came tumbling down with thanks to two examples of down right madness that will live long in the minds of the Bianconeri.

Braga equalised and the game ended in penalties, it just got worse for Udinese with this effort from new boy Maicosuel

Braga won the shootout 5-4 thanks to that Paneka and will play in the Big Cup for the next few months.
