This rather unfortunate Thomas Vermaelan doppelgänger was dolled an unnecessary portion of abuse by irate Brazilians - sore from their 7-1 pecker-slapping at the hands of the Germans.
The poor guy was probably sent by his editor to report on the feelings in Brazil towards their national team, and towards the visiting Germans who brushed them aside. He got a little more than he bargained for as a portly - hammered - Brazilian roared abuse at him.
