In the build up to Poland vs Ireland, all the talk was about one man; Bayern Munich's red-hot striker Robert Lewandowski.
It seemed inevitable that the big Pole would score, and sure enough he powered an impressive header past Darren Randolph in the Irish goal to join David Healy as the record goalscoerer in a European Championship qualifying campaign on 13 goals.
While nobody can question Lewandowski's quality as a player, many were very disappointed to see such a big star go to ground in search of a free-kick or penalty as consistently as he did, and twitter was the first port of call for the complaints.
