Harry Kane has finally scored in August!
Despite winning two Premier League golden boots and finishing runner-up in the standings last season, Harry Kane had never scored a league goal in the opening month of the season.
He finally broke that streak when he bagged Spurs' third in their game against Fulham in the 77th minute, and Twitter reacted.

Harry Kane scores in August. And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and an irritating Premier League statistic will be gone forever. Isaiah 11:6

Harry Kane adds "goal in August" to his long list of meaningless accolades that are supposed to compensate for not winning trophies. #TOTFUL

Kane had struck the post earlier in the game, and it looked like his bad luck was going to continue.
However, his strike followed two fantastic goals from Lucas Moura and Kieran Tripier to wrap up the three points for Spurs.
