We admit the internet is a place of general stupidity, and we know we do our share of exacerbating that stupidity from time to time, but at the end of the day, we're a journalistic organisation here at Balls. We aim to report the truth, and if we can't do that, we aim to deliver the funniest version of it.
So when news rippled across the internet yesterday that the above attractive woman in the AC Milan top was the new Rossineri physio, we wanted to believe. It was even better that she looked a bit like the great Chelsea physio Eva Carneiro, but in a more model-y way, and under the employ of Silvio Berlusconi. And we nearly published a story on it - but unfortunately we could not find an iota of information about this woman. On every story we've read about the new Milan appointment remains nameless. So we held back and assumed some intrepid screengrabber would find a photo of her on the sidelines or on the pitch during AC Milan's match against Zenit St Petersburg last night. But no joy.
We did a bit of Twitter searching on this, and as far as we can see, the origin of the rumour is a Chelsea fan in Mumbai who just posted the pic to his Twitter on Sunday afternoon. A few retweets later and allegedly credible websites were publishing the story as if it were gospel, with a lot of lame pulled groin jokes.
She is going to be AC Milan's new doctor O_O :D twitter.com/ShedEndRockers…

Bhaskaran claims he found the photo on the official AC Milan facebook page, but after 10 minutes of trawling, there's still no proof that the woman actually works for the club. A scan through the 'staff' page on the AC Milan site shows the entire medical team at the club is male.
Like Fox Mulder, we want to believe, but we until we see a name attached to this woman, we're going to assume this was all just internet stupidity.
