TV3 have apologised to viewers after those watching the Arsenal vs Bayern Munich game on TV3HD on Sky had their pictures frozen during the second half.
The broadcast stopped during the 71st minute - five minutes before Arsenal opened the scoring - and remained so until after the game.
Appears TV3 HD has given up on Sky... The SD version on Sky 273 is working fine

Don’t worry Bayern fans, if you stick on TV3 it’s still 0-0. — Stephen Long (@Stephen_Long) October 20, 2015
If my TV3 HD channel remains frozen much longer on Arsenal match I'm afraid I will miss the ad breaks on the World Cup semi-finals! #RWC2015

Only the HD service on Sky was affected, with other carriers and the standard definition service on Sky continuing to work for the remainder of the match.
Apologies to viewers on @TV3Ireland HD service for the frozen picture our engineers are working on it. SD services unaffected. — SPORT ON TV3 IRELAND (@TV3SportIreland) October 20, 2015
Apologies to those watching Arsenal v Bayern on TV3HD on @SkyIreland for the loss of pictures. Sky are investigating the fault at their end

We apologise for the frozen picture on the Sky HD platform. TV3 HD on Virgin Media and Evision is unaffected. (1/1) — TV3 (@TV3Ireland) October 20, 2015
Despite the fault, and recent criticism over the quantity and length of ads during their Rugby World Cup coverage, recent weeks have been hugely successful for TV3. Their World Cup coverage has brought the largest viewership figures of the station's existence.
