Millwall are expected to give a belated league debut to on-loan striker Troy Parrott at home to Cardiff.
Due to calf and ankle injuries, the Dubliner has played just 45 minutes of competitive football since swapping north for south London in August.
Parrott featured for the Ireland under-21 and senior sides during the international break and will be in Millwall's squad for the Championship clash at The Den.
The teenager stepped off the bench on Wednesday night at the Aviva against Bulgaria to play just under ten minutes as Ireland desperately sought to end a goal drought now stretched to over 11 hours.
"If he comes back fit then he’ll be involved,” said Millwall manager Gary Rowett.
"The decision moving forward is whether we start him or use him off the bench.
"It’s like anything, if you have got someone you feel can score goals and you feel you’re at a point where it isn’t a risk then he’s going to start a game for us.
"That’s why he has been brought in – to play. And he’s been brought in to make a bit of a difference. We know he’s only young but we feel he’s got enough quality."
