Ireland beat the Faroe Islands 3-0 in their UEFA U19 Championships qualifier at Longford Town's City Calling Stadium on Saturday evening.
The goals all came via one of Irish football's brightest prospects, Troy Parrott.
After a first half which Ireland dominated but went scoreless, 16-year-old Parrott opened the scoring from a penalty after Bohemians striker Ali Reghba was fouled in the box with 66 minutes on the clock.
10 minutes later, Adam Idah played in Parrott for his second.
The Spurs striker completed his hat-trick four minutes into injury time, again scoring from a penalty after Reghba has been fouled.
Ireland opened their qualifying campaign with a 3-1 win against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Wednesday. They play Netherlands on Tuesday afternoon in the final game of the qualifying round.
