Trent Alexander-Arnold has atoned for wearing number 66 on his back (look, we all know it's not right) by giving Liverpool the lead in their Champions League qualifier with Hoffenheim. He did so in some style, whipping a free-kick won by Sadio Mané into the bottom right-hand corner of the Germans' net.
It's a first Liverpool goal for the 18-year-old, and it emphatically settled a very patchy Liverpool start, in which Simon Mignolet saved an (abysmal) Kramaric penalty.
Here's the goal:

A cracking effort, making light of the absence of Phil Coutinho.
And here's a fun fact about Alexander-Arnold: his uncle, John Alexander, is the club secretary at Manchester United.
