Giovanni Trapattoni looks set to take over as manager of the Ivory Coast national side. Gazetta Dello Sport reports that Trap is to sign a four year contract after the World Cup. His opinion on the best way to approach football matches is unlikely to have changed and his mastery of French is unlikely to be better than his English. He'll be 81 years old in 2018. We'll see how he gets on with the Ivory Coast players.
