Jose Mourinho is set to complete his fourth signing of the transfer window after Chelsea agreed an initial fee of £17m for Augsburg left-back Abdul Baba Rahman.

The Ghanaian already agreed personal terms at Stamford Bridge last week. The initial fee could reach up to £22m with add-ons if certain targets are met.

The 21-year-old is set to replace Brazil defender Filipe Luis who returned to Atletico Madrid two weeks ago, and will compete with Cesar Azpilicueta for a place in the first team.

The attacking left-back made 31 Bundesliga appearances last season after signing from Greuther Furth, where he made his debut as a 16-year-old.
