Experience is invaluable in football, but children are the future. Well, in this instance, it's not about children, rather, it's about ludicrously talented young adults. Today's transfer rumours are blooding the youth.

Welcome to the Balls Bullshit-O-Meter. It measures the validity of a transfer rumour with its scientifically approved formula of measuring the smell of the bullshit emanating from the morning reports. '1' is a fresh meadow with '10' setting off nuclear toxicity alarms throughout the land.

Kieran Tierney (Celtic to Arsenal)

The golden boy of Parkhead may be heading south of the border. Arsenal boss Unai Emery has apparently identified Kieran Tierney as his top left-back target. According to the Daily Mail, Emery considers Tierney to be a 'shrewd investment'.

The left-back is contracted until 2023. However, as is the case with nearly all Celtic transfer rumours, if a big bid comes in, Celtic will be helpless to resist.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (Crystal Palace to Manchester United)

One of the transfer window's ongoing transfer sagas may soon be over. Per the Daily Record, England U21 international Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be set for a £55m move to Old Trafford.

Wan-Bissaka represents a risk at such a lofty price, especially after only his second season of senior football. However, no price is big enough to ensure Ashley Young isn't starting at full-back.

David Brooks (Bournemouth to Manchester United)

Recommended

Manchester United are also targeting Welsh international David Brooks, as reported by The Sun. The playmaker had an excellent first season in the Premier League, adept at playing across the midfield.

United are eyeing up moves for a variety of slight footballers with lovely feet. They've been linked to Leicester City's James Maddison for most of the transfer window.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Red Bull Salzburg to Arsenal)

Another youngster that could be on the move is Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian international is valued at £9m, and according to Football Insider, Arsenal are eyeing up a move for the midfielder.

At 18 years of age, Szoboszlai is considered one of the brightest talents in world football. He received his first call-up to the Hungarian national team at just 16.

James Rodriguez (Real Madrid to Napoli)

celtic transfer rumours

I bet you forgot that James Rodriguez was a Real Madrid player. Following a two year loan at Bayern Munich, neither the Bavarian outfit nor Zinedine Zidane are keen on the Colombian. Step forward, Carlo Ancelotti. Rodriguez played under Ancelotti for both sides, with Ancelotti wanting a third spin with the playmaker at Napoli.

In an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis expressed doubts that Rodriguez is the man to take Napoli to Serie A glory, but is willing to back Ancelotti's vision. Rodriguez would cost in the region of €40m, so Kalidou Koulibaly may have to move in order to facilitate the deal.
