Unlike their neighbours, Spurs have been suspiciously quiet in this window. But The Guardian are reporting this morning that Spurs are lining up chasing Moussa Sissoko and could use Nabil Bentaleb as a make-weight in the deal. Newcastle allegedly want £30m for the midfielder though. Considering Pogba went for over x3 that, in the current market that's probably a good deal.
According to The Manchester Evening News, Arsenal are now looking into the possibility of signing Phil Jones. Not content with being linked with just the one player with ties to Man United, Wenger is now casting his menacing eyes over 'bull in a china shop' Jones. The 24 year old is totally frozen out at United and a move to London could actually revive what was once a very promising career. Stoke have also been sniffing around.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Arsenal have turned to Roma defender Kostas Manolas as their desperate scramble for a centre-back continues. It's almost becoming embarrassing to watch really. You know that clubs will be hiking prices as the transfer deadline approaches too.
Fall-back options Marcel Tisserand and Jonny Evans are starting to look more appealing as a deal for Shkodran Mustafi seems to be off the table now.
The Guardian are reporting that Southampton are chasing Lille forward Sofiane Boufal. The 22-year-old is also a Spurs target and will cost somewhere in the region of €20m. Southampton have reportedly bid €15m because, you know, bargaining and that.
Nicklas Bendtner could be on his way back into English football. Jimmy Flloyd Hasselbaink wants to bring the free agent to QPR according to ESPN. Get ready to welcome the Lord Bendtner memes back into your life.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Sassuolo have turned down Mario Balotelli. The Liverpool Echo have commented (perhaps somewhat facetiously) that Mario could be released on a free. Oh Mario.
Hull's caretaker manager Mike Phelan is looking to bring Micah Richards to Hull according to The Guardian. He certainly has experience when it comes to relegation dog fights!
TalkSPORT have reported that Everton have given up on signing Joe Hart and will instead focus on PSG goaleeper Salvatore Sirigu instead. The 29-year-old has moved down the pecking order at the French champions after Kevin Trapp usurped him.
