So here we are, the new Premier League season kicking off in just 3 days, with rumours beginning to morph into confirmed deals as Pogba leaves for United and Stones for City. Things are getting done. But one problem still persists. Arsenal still haven't signed a striker. Gunners fans are surely getting mildly concerned now as Giroud looks set to be lead the line once again. Here is today's transfer rumour roundup!

Well, The Star are reporting that those goals will come in the form Wilfried Bony and his tree truck thighs. Arsene Wenger is set to launch a £30m bid for the unwanted striker. The Ivorian stayed in Manchester during City's 3-2 loss to Arsenal in Gothenburg which will only add fuel to the fire. Would it really be the worst signing ever? He was excellent for Swansea and he was always going to play second fiddle to Aguero in Manchester... Just saying.

The Guardian are reporting that Arsenal are keen to get a deal for Valencia's Skhodran Mustafi over the line before their season opener against Liverpool on Sunday.

In a move that will see the ears of Football Manager players prick up around the globe, Leicester have reportedly made a £23m offer for 19-year-old Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa. The Daily Mail are reporting that Inter Milan, Barcelona and Juventus are also interested in signing Barbosa, who is currently representing Brazil in the Olympics.

According to The Daily Star, Chelsea will not be able to sign Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly until the Italian club can secure a replacement. New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has already seen an offer worth £42m rejected. As badly as Arsenal need a striker, they desperately need a centre back as Gabriel and Mertesacker are both injured and Koscielny is returning late from an extended break after Euro 2016.

Everton are about to break their transfer record by signing Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie for £30m. The Mirror are reporting that Everton are returning with an improved bid (fueled by Stones money) after an £18m bid was turned down.

Crystal Palace may have a strong incentive to sell Bolasie as they attempt to raise funds to buy Christian Benteke from from Liverpool for £32m. Failing that, Palace boss Alan Pardew could look to free-agent Hal-Robson Kanu after an impressive Euro 2016. We'll forget the underwhelming career bit then shall we?

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulus has confirmed that West Ham are interested in signing winger Rachid Ghezzal. L'Equipe have reported that the Hammers have already made a bid of €8m for the Algerian.

According to Sky Sports, Sunderland are close to closing a £5m deal to bring Paddy McNair and Donald Love to Sunderland from Manchester United.

Sunderland boss David Moyes is also reportedly eyeing up a move for Everton's Steven Naismith, that's according to the Sunderland Echo.
