It has been a busy day in the transfer market with several Premier League clubs active in signing off on deals.

With first-team opportunities limited for the Englishman, Bournemouth are set to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne on loan until the end of the season. Clyne has only made two starts this season due to the progression of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Elsewhere, Italian outlet Sports Mediaset have reported that Aaron Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus. The Arsenal man is out of contract this summer and is rumoured to be set for a five-year deal with the Seria A side.

Tottenham Hotspur also confirmed that they have activated an automatic one-year extension in Toby Alderweireld's contract, which ties the defender to the club until the end of the 2019/20 season. However, it activates a £25m release clause which could be met by interested parties this summer.

While they have done no business thus far, Man Utd caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he will meet with Ed Woodward in the coming days to discuss potential transfers.

I am sure they have got plans for this transfer window. The club has probably had a plan since the summer and the year before. The structure of the club is phenomenal so I am sure they have got their targets.
